Where the body finds stillness.... and begins to heal
Supporting the body in releasing stored tension, and returning to balance.
Supporting the body in releasing stored tension, and returning to balance.
My mission is to create a safe, supportive space where the body can slow down, unwind, and return to its natural state of balance. Through gentle, intuitive work, I assist the body in releasing stored tension and restoring ease, allowing true healing to emerge from within

Inspired by the work of Dr. John Upledger, craniosacral therapy is centered around the subtle, rhythmic movement of the cerebrospinal fluid that surrounds and nourishes the brain and spinal cord. This system is deeply connected to the central nervous system, and when it is restricted, the body often remains stuck in patterns of stress, protection, and survival.
Through a gentle, intentional touch, I listen to the body rather than try to force change. The body already knows what it needs to do. My role is to create a safe space where it can begin to unwind, release, and reorganize itself naturally.
As the nervous system begins to shift out of that sympathetic “fight or flight” state and into a parasympathetic state of rest and healing, something powerful happens. The fascia softens. The holding patterns begin to let go. Old tensions, stored emotions, and protective patterns that have been held sometimes for years can finally start to release.
This is where the deeper work unfolds.
It’s not just about relaxation. It’s about allowing the body to come back into balance, to restore its natural rhythm, and to reconnect with a sense of safety from within. From that place, clarity improves, pain can diminish, and there is often a profound sense of peace that comes over the entire system.
Each session is unique. Sometimes it’s quiet and deeply still. Other times the body may gently unwind, release, or shift in ways that are unexpected but exactly what’s needed. I simply follow, support, and trust the intelligence of your system.
This work meets you exactly where you are and allows your body to guide the process back toward healing, integration, and wholeness.

Rooted in the work of John F. Barnes, myofascial release is not just about muscles or stretching—it’s about working with the fascial system, the three-dimensional web of connective tissue that surrounds, supports, and interconnects every muscle, bone, nerve, organ, and cell in the body.
Fascia is not separate from your experience—it is your experience. It holds structure, but it also holds memory. Over time, physical injuries, repetitive strain, inflammation, and especially unprocessed emotional experiences can create restrictions within this system. These restrictions don’t just stay local—they can pull, twist, and compress other areas of the body, often showing up as chronic pain, tightness, limited movement, or patterns that never seem to fully resolve.
What makes the John Barnes approach different is that we are not forcing the body to change.
We are listening.
Using sustained, gentle pressure—often held for several minutes—I engage the fascial system and wait. This is where the real work begins. Fascia does not respond to quick, aggressive techniques. It requires time, presence, and safety. As the pressure is maintained, the tissue begins to soften, elongate, and release on its own terms.
But here’s where it goes deeper…
As those restrictions begin to let go, it’s not uncommon for sensations, memories, or emotions to surface. This is what John Barnes refers to as unwinding. The body may move, shift, tremor, or gently guide itself into positions that allow these deeply held patterns to release. Nothing is forced. Everything is allowed.
This is not something I do to you—it’s something your body does, once it feels safe enough.
In that space, the fascial system begins to rehydrate, reorganize, and come back into balance. Pressure on nerves can decrease. Circulation improves. Mobility increases. And often, there is a profound shift not just physically, but emotionally and energetically.
This is where the true healing happens.
Because we’re not just treating symptoms—we’re addressing the underlying restrictions that have been held in the body, sometimes for years or even decades.
Each session is unique. Some are quiet and deeply still. Others involve gentle movement, emotional release, or spontaneous unwinding. I stay present, grounded, and attentive, following your body’s lead every step of the way.
This work meets you exactly where you are. It honors your body’s timing, your nervous system, and your lived experience.
And when the body is finally given the space to let go of what it no longer needs to hold… it naturally returns toward ease, balance, and a deeper sense of wholeness.

As the body begins to settle through craniosacral therapy, the nervous system shifts out of a constant state of stress and into the parasympathetic state — where true healing can occur. In this space of safety and stillness, the body no longer feels the need to protect or guard.
This is where myofascial work becomes profoundly effective.
From the understanding of John Barnes, the fascia is not just a physical structure — it is a living, responsive system that holds patterns of tension, trauma, and unresolved emotional energy. When the body is in a guarded or survival state, these restrictions remain locked in place.
But when the nervous system softens, the fascia becomes more receptive.
Using sustained, gentle pressure and presence, I assist the body in releasing these deeper restrictions. As the fascia unwinds, it is not uncommon for stored emotions, memories, or long-held patterns to surface and gently resolve. This is a natural part of the body’s healing intelligence.
This is where the work goes beyond the physical.
It becomes a process of letting go — not just of pain and tension, but of the energy and experiences that no longer serve you. As these layers release, the body returns to a more balanced, open, and connected state.
This is where true healing begins.
1. What can I expect during a session?
Each session is unique and guided by what your body needs in the moment. You’ll be fully supported and comfortable, and the work is done at a pace your nervous system can safely integrate. Many clients experience deep relaxation, subtle shifts, or even fall asleep.
2. What is craniosacral therapy and myofascial release?
These are gentle, hands-on therapies that work with the nervous system and the fascia—the connective tissue throughout the body. Together, they help release tension, reduce pain, and allow the body to return to a more natural, balanced state.
3. What is myofascial release?
Using the John Barnes approach, myofascial release works directly with the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds and supports the entire body. Restrictions in this tissue can hold physical and emotional tension. Through sustained, gentle pressure, these restrictions begin to release.
4. Why do you combine different modalities?
When the nervous system is calm and in a parasympathetic state, the fascia becomes more receptive to releasing. Combining craniosacral therapy with myofascial work allows for deeper, more lasting results by addressing both the nervous system and the tissue restrictions together.
5. Do I need to undress?
You undress to your level of comfort. For myofascial work, direct contact with the skin is often important, but your comfort, safety, and sense of trust always come first. You will always be properly draped.
6. Will I feel anything during the session?
Some people feel subtle movements, warmth, or gentle unwinding in the body. Others simply feel deeply relaxed. Every experience is different, and your body leads the process.
7. Can this help with emotional release?
Yes. The body often stores unresolved emotional experiences within the tissues. As restrictions release, emotions can surface and gently move through. This is a natural and healthy part of the healing process.
8. How long does it take to feel results?
Many clients feel a shift immediately, while others notice changes over the next 24 to 36 hours as the body continues to integrate the work.
9. Is it normal to feel very relaxed or even fall asleep?
Absolutely. When your body enters a deep parasympathetic state, it’s very common to feel extremely relaxed or fall asleep during the session.
10. What should I do after a session?
Drink plenty of water to support the lymphatic system and help your body process and release what has shifted. Give yourself time to rest and integrate.
11. How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goals and what your body is working through. Some people come in for targeted work, while others choose ongoing care to support deeper healing and maintenance.
12. Is every session the same?
No. Every session is different because your body is different each time. The work follows what is ready to release in that moment.
